This is the Western Market. First stop on my self-directed walking tour. It is a historical monument that was renovated and now contains a bunch of little shops.
This was an old mail box by the Western Market. It looks just like the ones in the UK.

This is the street where you can buy bird's nests...you can get them in the states, but I've never tried them. Apparently you prepare it in some way and eat it and it is very good for you (like a delicacy).
You've never eaten bird's nest? What? Your mom knows about it for sure. Pregnant woman eat it so their baby is born with beautiful white skin. My mom ate it with Nana
